Welcome to the Chattenden Primary School website. Chattenden Primary School has established a warm welcoming environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their best. Our school aims to create a safe, caring and respectful culture to enable children to develop personal abilities, interests and talents. We do this through an identified set of ‘Core Values’ with the overall challenge of “Success, No Matter What!” 

Here at Chattenden, we are dedicated to the happiness and achievement of our children. Our team strive hard to provide the best learning opportunities for all of our children and we are extremely proud of the pupils’ superb manners, excellent attitudes to their learning and the respectful ethos. We have high expectations of achievement, attainment and behaviour and are committed to every child achieving their absolute best, regardless of background or starting point. 

Our students thrive thanks to the breadth and challenge of our curriculum, it is enriched with a busy co-curriculum of trips and visits, competitive sport, music, drama and extracurricular activities. We have been awarded a Gold Award by the School Games Mark organisation, recognising the wonderful sporting opportunities we offer our pupils internally, locally and countywide.  We offer chances for children to excel in a variety of ways providing opportunities for independent thought and pupil leadership.

We work closely with parents, governors and other external agencies to ensure that we provide excellent opportunities for all children, enabling them to be the best they can be.
