The School Day

The Beginning of the School Day

The school day begins at 8.45am. The gates are opened at 8.45 am for children and parent/carers to enter the playground. A member of SLT and the Home School Support Worker are available at the beginning of the day.

All children should be in their classroom by 8.55am at the latest for a prompt start to the school day. Registration takes place at 8.55am. 

Children arriving after 8.55am must arrive via the entrance to the School Office. Any child not in school by 9.15am is to be registered as late. The school office will ring parents who have not informed the school to explain an absence. A Breakfast Club is run on a Pay as You Go basis from 7.45am to 8.45am.

Morning Break

Morning break is between 10.30-10.45am.

Lunchtime

Lunchtime is between 12-1pm.  Lunch is eaten under the supervision of staff and the Midday Meals Assistants.

Afternoon Break

There is an afternoon break for KS1 between 2.30pm and 2.45pm.

End of the school day

The school day ends at 3.15. There are a range of afterschool clubs for children to attend.
